YES this is a stroller friendly race. Children under the age of 3 in a stroller do not need to register for the race. However, if you would like the child in a stroller to receive a bib and medal, please contact email@example.com for special stroller-registration.

We love options, so we wanted to give you options too! You can pick up your bib at the bib pick-up the day before the event or on race morning.
YES, all participants will receive a finisher medal at the finish line. Kids in stroller will receive a medal only if they are registered and wearing a bib.

Yes, transfers are allowed for a $15 fee.

YES you can switch distance! If you are transferring UP in distance you must pay any difference in registration fees. If you are transferring DOWN in distance, there is no refund.

If you registered for the race but cannot attend anymore, you have three options:
1.If you purchased event insurance at the time you registered, please contact the insurance company HERE to see if you are eligible for a refund.
2.You can transfer your bib to another runner
3.Up to 30 days before the race, you can transfer to the virtual category. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
All entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE with the following exceptions ONLY:
Active duty military members who are unable to participate because they are unexpectedly deployed may request a refund less a $20 administration fee. Email your request with a copy of orders to email@example.com no later than 14 days prior to race day.
No, Parking is free!
The first 2 hours are free with validation in the Pike Parking Structure. The charge is $3/hour after that. See the Long Beach page for more information.
Nope – take your time!
Awesome 80s Run will take place rain or shine. However, if conditions are determined by city officials to be unsafe, the race will be rescheduled. No refunds will be made.
It will open a few months before the race–stay tuned!
If you were unable to stay for your winner award, please send $15 plus your address and requested items. Items will be sent on March 15 and July 15. All items will be donated on July 30 and will no longer be available.
